Carthamus Yellow is mainly used as a colorant and natural yellow pigment. It can be used in juice (flavor) beverages, carbonated beverages, wine, candy, pastry, canned, green plum, ice cream, ice lolly, jelly, preserved fruit, instant noodles, etc.

It can be used in liquid food to improve its heat resistance and light resistance and can be combined with L- ascorbic acid.
